Statue of LibertyIt’s a long climb up a winding staircase, but under that crown is a row of windows, looking out on the harbor at Manhattan. Overhead are a series of wavy lines, the underside of Liberty’s hair. And providing the illumination?

A series of yellow plastic work lights, plugged into extension cords.
