Faith Comes By Hearing says speakers of 565 languages can read God’s word on smart phones, and many of the languages can also be downloaded in audio to MP3 players and to BibleSticks. That’s double the number of languages that were available just one month ago.

Their goal is to have audio translations of the Bible available in 2,000 languages for 2,000,000 “listening groups” by 2016. At their current rate of expansion, that amazing goal seems very possible.

And it’s all according to plan:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NIV)
