An Odd Choice for ‘Odd News’
As many others have done before them, UPI ran an article on the International House of Prayer today.
The news service considered the church newsworthy because IHOP, as it continues to be known in spite of the restaurant chain’s attempts to quash the initials, has hosted 24 hour a day prayer for the U.S.A. non-stop since 1999. But what interests us most about the story is the department where UPI thought it belonged.
They ran it in “Odd News,” between a piece about the president of South Korea’s head gear, and a ban on eating while driving.
