Intercessory Prayer Or Power of Positive Thinking?
Here’s an interesting study in view of the Bible’s teaching about intercessory prayer: “. . . the researchers found that when one person focused his thoughts on his partner, the partner’s blood flow and perspiration dramatically changed within two seconds. The odds of this happening by chance were 1 in 11,000.”

Next they need to study small groups of friends, my guess is that since God designed us to live “in community” that we might see this person-to-person entanglement working within small close groups of friends too. I also wonder about the negative impact of multiple casual sexual relationships, if we are designed to “entangle” intimately (sorry about the pun) with a single person in a long-term relationship, where it would seem the entanglement would strengthen over time, what would be the negative effects of never having that single person you are so deeply connected to? A lot to think about here, no wonder divorce is so very detrimental to a person’s physical well being and perhaps this also might partially explain why couples that have been married a very long time often die within months of each other.
