NASA Finds New Evidence of Flowing Water On Mars
The water–if it is water–seems to flow seasonally. Because it doesn’t seem to freeze in spite of the planets very cold surface temperatures, scientists believe it has an extremely salt content.
But they still believe it could support life. Lisa Pratt, an Indiana University biogeochemist on the NASA panel discussing the results, said . . .”It is our first chance to see an environment on Mars that might allow for the expression of an active biological process, if there is present-day life on Mars.”
